Tank Farm Heating and Cooling Modules
We start by analyzing the heating and cooling requirements for each tank in your farm
Each tank coil served off of the header has its own valve which opens when tank heating or cooling is required
Next, we do heat transfer calculations for both system losses and heat-up requirements
The tank, heat exchanger, pump and steam control valve are then sized and fully specified
This is followed by physical design of the module
Modules are constructed in our shop per ASME B31.3 and clients preferences
Hydrotesting is performed prior to shipment
One properly sized module can service any tank farm, large or small
