Assembly can be performed safer at floor level inside our shop. Some vertical processes can be very tall which translates to additional personnel safety issues as well as more dangerous equipment lifting situations.
Site congestion and craft interferences are reduced.
Modules are moved to different stations inside the shop which are individually set up with specific equipment and personnel to isolate different portions of the project that require unique safety considerations like welding or overhead picking.
On-site OSHA exposure hours are reduced which translates to less risk for the contractor and the owner.
